I'm Katie and I am a Manchester based sports photographer. I have loved sport since I was small partaking in anything I could and even completed a GCSE in Physical Education (My main sport was swimming if you were wondering). However it wasn't until 2023 I realised my passion lied within sports photography. Whilst studying for my Photography BTEC and degree I struggled to settle into a genre. I went through everything (quite literally) but nothing felt right. As a life long Manchester City fan I started taking photos at the trophy parades from this my eyes were opened to sport photography and I have never looked back.
Since this moment I have worked with some amazing people and teams. Whilst studying at the University of Salford I got to photograph multiple university teams including Hockey, Football, Rugby Union, Volleyball and American Football who I actually have continued to work with since graduating as their team photographer. As well as this since graduating in 2025 I have worked with Manchester Titans American football team. I have also gone on to become National League accredited working for teams such as Altrincham FC and as of current I am currently at Radcliffe FC as one of their club photographers. Other Experience includes working with LTA for a under 13s Tournament, Priestner Injury Clinic, Deeside Ice skating Club also working with cricket clubs such as Edgworth and Northop Hall.
I aspire to continue pushing myself in every aspect, capturing the action but also the emotion. Freezing the what's felt rather than just what is seen. My passion is sport but my love is story telling. I aim to combine the two so the best moments are frozen to be seen for a lifetime.
